Cases involving Social Services tend to be potentially complex. We have a reputation for being able to deal effectively with complex cases.
Problems with social services often involve too little too late in the way of resources. Inappropriate suggestions of resources and facilities available, and at times wholly misunderstanding the nature of the Child or Young Persons Learning Difficulty to the extent that Care Proceedings are Started.
We can help with all these issues, including where necessary the use of complaints procedures, mediation, Judicial Review, Disability Discrimination Claims under theEquality Act 2010 against social services and care cases in the Family Court where disability is involved, as well as cases in the SENDIST where the provision needed is in reality educational provision (under the new wider definition of educational provision) and has been wrongly categorised.
