Voluntary Agencies

We provide free training [pro bono] and speakers to events arranged and organised by Charities, Support Groups, and other Voluntary Agencies. Many use these as much needed fund raising opportunities.

The increasing sophistication of the Appeal process, a knowledge of the ever expanding body of case law, and understanding of a range of evidential and tactical issues is important and we are always pleased to help voluntary organisations where we can.

There are many charities such as SOS!SEN, the Dyslexia Institute, Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID), IPSEA, and many others (too many to name).

A well trained and knowledgeable independent voluntary sector is important, first line, providing a valuable source of support and information for parents who all to often appear to have received misleading information from other sources.

However, good voluntary agencies recognise that where parents have been going round in circles and been given the run around by LEA's, over a long period, and in extremely complex cases, greater legal expertise may be called for.
