I am the Executive Assistant to Melinda Nettleton (Director) and Hayley Mason (Director) and have been part of the SEN Legal team since 2017. As both Directors work and travel the length of the country covering a variety of SEN related cases or marketing events, I manage their digital and physical workspaces and diaries. As the events of any given day evolve in relation to both Directors work, I anticipate and react to these changes and update, reprioritise and reschedule the movements of the Directors while keeping an eye on their future movements and the demands that a busy legal practice places on their time. I am their first call in the morning and also their last call at night.
As a result, my role allows me to work closely with both Directors and a wide range of people within the legal industry. I find it both a challenging and rewarding position and I make every effort to make a difference within the company, whose core value is to enhance the lives of children with special educational needs so that they can have the best possible education.
With over 20 years’ experience as an administrative professional, I have dedicated my career to keeping executives organised, by providing personalised administrative support in a well-organised and timely manner. I believe that my experience and professionalism equip me for the many hats that Executive Assistants wear and this is my contribution to our core value.
I am also an ambassador of the ‘The PA Way’ in my region, which seeks to inspire, empower and motivate personal, executive and virtual assistants into being the best version of themselves and helping them recognise the positive influence they can have on a business.
