Melinda Nettleton

Principal Solicitor and Director

I am the author of the recently published Special Needs & Legal Entitlement – The Essential Guide to getting out the Maze, which is currently the only published work dealing with EHC Plans and SEND Tribunals.

I have over 20 years professional experience in this field and I am supported by a team of 15 staff, consisting of a mixture of solicitors, Legal Executives, Paralegals and Administrative staff.

I have three children, one of whom has Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and a severe Language Disorder and who had a Statement of Special Educational Needs throughout his education. He had a specialist independent school named in Part 4 of his Statement of Special Educational Needs since he was seven. He has now finished university, graduating with a 1st in Philosophy. As a result of my personal experience, I am committed to giving all of my clients the same level of care and attention that I gave to my own son throughout his education.

I am currently a Trustee of Hillingdon Autistic Care and Support (HACS) and have previously served terms as a Trustee of Hornsby, Dyslexia Action and SOS!SEN.
