This video explores the school experience for neurodivergent students - including the impact of school trauma and subsequent school avoidance. Melinda Eriksen (BApp Sc.OT) is an Occupational Therapist registered with the Health Professions Council. Her specialist field is the inclusion of children with special needs in their educational setting, whether it is a mainstream or special needs school. Melinda provides direct intervention for children as well as advice and training for educational, medical and health professional staff to assist children to reach their full educational potential.
