If you child does not have an EHCP, an important date is upon the horizon.
Local Authorities across the country will be sending confirmation/refusal letters for;
Secondary schools on the 1st March 2019
Primary schools on the 16th April 2019
If either of these dates apply to you as a parent, put these in your diary now!
If you receive this letter and it’s a refusal for your child to be admitted to your chosen school, it will tell you how to make an appeal against this decision and the deadline by which you need to do this. This appeal must be in writing!
If you applied for more than one school, you will be required to appeal against each rejection individually. You can only appeal once against each rejection.
